There are so many cancer treatments available and understanding all of your options can feel very overwhelming. Finding the right treatment option can be especially tricky if your cancer or tumor is in a part of your body that is difficult to treat using surgery.
What is CyberKnife®?
CyberKnife, which sounds like a surgical procedure, is actually a painless and non-invasive form of radiation that offers accurate, effective treatment for tumors anywhere in the body—even in places previously considered unreachable. CyberKnife uses a combination of computers, image-guided cameras and robotic technology to concentrate radiation directly at tumor cells, while limiting radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissue. CyberKnife is effective at treating a variety of cancer conditions.
