Public transportation to MedStar Georgetown
We are accessible by public transportation, including Metrobus and Metrorail. Additionally, shuttle buses are available for free for patients, visitors, and families to and from the Dupont Circle (Massachusetts Avenue and 20th Street) and Rosslyn Metro station (pick up and drop off at the Bus Bay B on N. Moore Street).

Parking discounts
Parking discounts are available to patients and their families. Validations are required for all discounted patient and visitor parking. Validations are available at the information desks at the following locations:
- Main building, 1st Floor
- Verstandig Pavilion, Ground Floor
- Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, 1st Floor
- PHC building, Ground Floor
- Emergency Department security (nights and weekends)
Parking validation is no longer provided in clinics or departments.
You can pay for parking in the garages using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), debit card (Visa, MasterCard), or cash.

Vehicle restrictions at Canal Road campus entrance
Only patients of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and patients participating in Yates Aquatic Therapy may use the Canal Road entrance, and they must have a document given to them by MedStar Georgetown to obtain access through this entrance.
Metro access and paratransit services
All Metro access and paratransit providers pick up and drop off at the West Wing circle via Entrance 2.
Oversized vehicles
Vehicles taller than 6 feet 2 inches (including vehicles that have been modified with large tires or accessories) will not safely fit inside the patient and visitor Parking 2 garage. However, our Parking 1 garage can accommodate vehicles up to the following:

P1: 9 feet 8 inches

P2 and P3: 7 feet six inches
If your vehicle is larger than this, please use another way to arrive at the hospital. Thank you for your cooperation.
