Support Faith, Comfort and Tranquility
The Georgetown University Hospital Chapel was built in 1947 and has had few upgrades since then. It is a sacred place of worship for our parishioners and provides respite for healing to our patients and their families. As we approach the 70th anniversary of the Chapel’s impact, we ask you to consider supporting the Chapel Renovation Fund to help us fund improvements.
In an effort to continue to maintain a space of comfort and tranquility, we are planning upgrades to the Chapel to include:
- Painting and new lighting
- Refurbishing the pews and kneelers
- Purchasing a new organ
- Replacing the sound system and camera that broadcasts mass to our patient rooms
