Laura Xanders, FNP-BC, is a ANCC-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in headache treatment. She sees patients in the Chevy Chase, MD, location.
Laura embraces the concept of ‘cura personalis,’ treating the whole patient. She incorporates lifestyle modifications, medications, procedures, alternative therapies, and interdisciplinary referrals when developing a personalized plan with her patients. As a former ER nurse at MedStar Georgetown, she also focuses on acute and urgent headache management options in clinic, at times utilizing the infusion suite at Chevy Chase.
