MedStar Georgetown is a part of the MedStar Breast Health Program offering a full range of sophisticated, proven and promising diagnostic and treatment options, as well as prevention, support rehabilitation and follow up services that support comprehensive treatment for breast disease.
Using a collaborative approach, the MedStar Breast Health Program’s experienced team develops treatment plans for both cancerous and non-cancerous conditions based upon your unique diagnosis, overall condition and personal preference. In addition to our hospitals, the MedStar Breast Health Program offers geographically dispersed outpatient sites located throughout the region.
During your visit, our highly-trained healthcare professionals - including nurses, social workers, psychologists and others - will be involved in your care. Genetic counseling and high-risk care are also available.

MedStar Georgetown is proud to offer Breast Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography) to all our patients, at no additional charge. We have upgraded all our equipment to Breast Tomosynthesis systems with the latest C-View software that reduces radiation exposure to patients. 3D Mammography helps detect cancers earlier and more effectively than traditional 2D digital mammography.
