How to Become a Patient

Please contact International Services by phone at 202-444-1588 or by email at [email protected] Once you have contacted our team, we will ask you to fill out the Patient Information and Registration Form. We will then proceed with coordinating your care by assigning a multilingual international services coordinator as your personal health care guide and advocate.

Coordinated Care

To begin coordinating your care here at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, your assigned international services coordinator will contact you regarding your medical needs. They will request a copy of your medical records, translated in English, to ensure your needs are properly met by identifying the best doctors for your healthcare needs. They will coordinate and schedule your appointments for medical tests, treatments and other services, as well as help you with arranging accommodations and transportation. Our international services team will be with you every step of the way.
