COVID-19 Patient Safety and Valet Parking in Garage 1: Our valet attendants are helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the valet car parking process in Garage 1.
Our valets maintain physical distancing when interacting with patients and each other. The use of PPE including masks and gloves, and the frequent use of hand sanitizer is included as part of their standard operations. Additionally, car seats are covered with disposable seat covers and steering wheels are covered with disposable steering wheel covers. These items are placed in the vehicle upon entry and only removed when the vehicle is returned. The covers are removed in front of the patient.
