On Sunday, June 10, 2018 at The National Harbor we here at MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute in alliance with the American Liver Foundation hosted our second annual charity walk for liver disease. Not only was our event a huge success it was the continuation of a tradition that we hope lives on for many years to come.
With this we want to thank you for your support and donations to help end the fight against liver disease. Well over $51,000 was raised through online and onsite donations and over 350 patients, families, providers and friends were walking while enjoying the sights of the DMV.
“Dunk a Doc” was one of the highlights – thank you to Dr. Satoskar, Dr. Rangnekar and Dave Zwerski, VP of transplant, for jumping in feet first!
