Welcome to the Department of Psychiatry
The mission of our department is to provide high quality mental health care and service to the community in an academic model that integrates teaching and research activities in everything we do.
Emotional, behavioral, and cognitive problems are very common in childhood and should be approached with an understanding of the family contexts in which they occur. Our clinicians work with children birth to 24 years old and their families.
The adult clinic offers psychiatric evaluation and therapy for patients ages 18 and older. Psychopharmacological management as well as individual, group and family therapy are available, depending on patient needs.
