ATTENDANCE:  MBSR is an experiential program.  Attendance at all classes is essential for you to benefit fully from the class.  If you know ahead of time that you will need to miss more than ONE of the class dates or the retreat, please plan to attend a subsequent course.

 

Introduction to Mindfulness/MBSR Orientation Sessions

These orientation sessions (2 hours free of charge) are an experiential introduction to mindfulness, and at the same time, provide a detailed overview of the course.  They are designed equally for those who are curious about MBSR and seek information to help them decide, as well as for those who already are certain that they want to enroll, as an introduction and orientation. All sessions are held at 2115 Wisconsin Ave NW on the 1st floor conference room immediately to the left as you enter the building. 

  • Wednesday, October 4 from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 11 from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 18 from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 25 from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 29 from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 6 from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 13 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Tuesday Evening Class: CLASS FULL

  • Dates: September 5, 12, 19, 26; October 3, 10, 17, 24
  • Times: 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. except the 1st class on September 5 is 3 hours (6:00 - 9:00 p.m.), and the last class on October 24 is 3.5 hours (6:00 - 9:30 p.m.)
  • All Day Retreat: Sunday, October 15 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Wednesday Morning Class: CLASS FULL

  • Dates: September 6, 13, 20; October 4, 11, 18, 25, November 1 (skip Sept 27)
  • Times: 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (all classes)
  • All Day Retreat: Sunday, October 15  from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

All Day Retreat: Saturday, February 10
